This is Kayla and Justin. (And they’re in love!)

It’s true!
Truly.

We met Kayla and Justin one late afternoon on a blustery fall day to snap some engagement photos for them and it was a blast! It was like photographic stars all aligned- there was no wind, it’s wasn’t too cold and light was perfection. It didn’t hurt that our couple was completely adorable as well! We took a nearby golf course by storm and shot some great photos! They brought along the picture frame and we added a dash of awesome and voila!

The Glasser Images Posse loves you, Kayla and Justin! We’re so excited for 8.6.2011!!

Some of the husbands-to-be can get pretty nervous,
but Justin served us some serious FACE.

Kayla slipped into this fah-bulous orange peacoat halfway through the shoot and I was in LOVE!

Fieeeeerce!!

So cute!

I LOVE this shot. I love it, I love it, I love it.

Katrin + Chad = Married!

This is Katrin and Chad. And they’re in looooooooooove!!

Which is a good thing, cause they got married!
And we got to be there.

HAH.

I first met Kat and Chad this last winter when they came to Casa de Glasser to have their engagement photos taken.  They are my kind of couple. They tease, and are both fluent in sarcasm…and they’re so in love that it’s insane.  So what started out to be an innocent engagement shoot turned into mayhem, involving Kat, Chad, myself and Jack scaling this large hill…in 5 feet of snow. I kid you not. We were up to our thighs in packed snow, trying to make it up this hill. I lost my  shoe at some point, and it was windy and cold and I kinda wanted to give up. I have photos as evidence of this debacle, but I won’t share those. But we made it, and got the balloon shot. It was worth it.

I’d like to think that I formed a special bond with Kat and Chad after the Scaling of the Great Snowy Hill of 2009. Jack and Kat have actually been friends for years! He took her to senior prom. (Awwwww…) So we were tickled to shoot their wedding!

Every time I think of Kat and Chad, I think of the song Kat played on her phone when I was snapping some photos of her getting ready. It’s adorable. ADORABLE.

In my friend, I find a second self.

I stole another quote. The title is by Isabel Norton. I just can’t come up with good ones myself.
But isn’t it so true?

It’s certainly true for Kayla and Katie, two of our latest brides. Great friends who got the privilege of planning their weddings together. Just two weeks apart, both as beautiful as the other. It was such an interesting and fulfilling experience, and we Glasser Imageians are so thankful that they chose us to capture the best day of their respective lives.  A big fat hug and a kiss to Kayla and Katie from all of us at GlasserImagesland. You both are beautiful, special people (Kevin and Zach are so lucky!) and we wish you all the best (forevah and evah!)
