Hey there ho there, bloggy blog world. (Get it? Get it? I crack myself up.) This is Quinn.
This blog post is dedicated to the art of watermarks. Us folks here in the Glasser Images offices have recently been going through a traumatic watermark experience. The Great Watermark Incident of 2011 (TGWI of 2011) has just concluded and we are dead tired. A war of sorts has been raging under our roof and the cause of much strife and heartache. Okay. Not really. But it has been an experience. Quite a few months ago, we realized “Oh! We should get ourselves a watermark!” It was a good, solid idea. Weeks pass, as we are A.) busy B.) tired C.) tired and busy. Once we finally sat down and agreed it was time to get the watermark ball rolling, there were differing opinions. We actually had heated discussions over black vs. white, fonts, layouts, opacity, you name it. Some battles were won (by me) and some were lost (also by me). Nevertheless, it is here! We have given birth to a watermark baby and we love it. Now everyone will know what is who’s and who’s is what and that the photos are indeed a product of Glasser Images. (In case there was any doubt. I don’t think there was.) Enjoy!
*Note: These occurrences were far less dramatic that what appears above. No one was injured or anything. We are just excited and I wanted to write a paragraph.
*Note #2: Not all of the names on the watermarks are correct, I just threw together some examples and wanted to give a shout out to everyone!

Hello! How is everyone? I am about to pull out all of my hair because I. WANT. SUMMER. Badly. Very, very badly. If I sit for too long, all I do is think about warm air and big fluffy clouds and the smell of sunscreen (one of the best smells ever) and that golden light at sunset that wraps all around you. And then I look at the weather outside and my heart goes from
HERE!
to
here.
I know it will get here eventually, but I’ll throw this out there. (ahem.)
Dear Summer, (are you listening?)
If you hurry up, I will be so so happy.
If you hurry up, I will be gleeful and run through fields of wild flowers.
If you hurry up, I will bake you cupcakes.
XOXO
Quinn
Photo time! (You all knew I’d get there eventually.) We had these litter buggers in the studio extreeeeemely recently (this morning) and we had a blast! When their mom mentioned bringing an Eames chair, it made Jack giddy (I had to google it. I was then equally as giddy.) And tah dah, the chair was a perfect prop and both kids were so stinkin’ cute. This makes for a good Tuesday morning!

This last shot cracks.me.up.
Hello all! I cannot claim the title of this post. I totally stole it from the Drew Berrymore classic, Never Been Kissed. (Oh, the 90s!) It’s that time of year! No, not time for spring cleaning or baseball. (No disrespect for spring cleaning or baseball!)
It’s prom time.
Time for the shop windows to be filled with the most colorful and fun dresses you’ll ever see. Time for watching nervous guys ducking into bridal boutiques to get fitted for their tuxes (more excited then they’ll ever let on.) Time for high school to be suddenly covered in posters with the best prom theme ever (see: Under the Sea, Casino Royale, Arabian Nights, etc.) Time for thoughts to drift from algebra and psychology to limos and corsages. Time for you to see some of your classmates cleaner than you will ever see them again.
Yes.
Oh, yes.
It’s prom.
It’s also time to give us Glasser Images compadres a call because we want YOU (Yes, you) to hang out with us on your prom day and take some sweet photographs. We want to see you in your best duds and document it forever and ever! Give us a jingle at 250-2190 and let the memories begin, yo.
Glasser Images Funfacts:
Jack went to prom with the gorgeous miss Katrin and we photographed her wedding this past summer.
Quinn (me) wore Chuck Taylors to her senior prom. I may or may not still wear them regularly.
Abby was Prom Queen at her high school. Hollllllla.

Having grown up in North Dakota, one would think I would be accustomed to the frigid cold air that accompanies the layers of snow. But nooooo…I never cease to say aloud how “gosh darn cold it is outside!” when I have certainly experienced this weather before, if not colder. However, not even a polar bear (which with the weather we’re having, wouldn’t even surprise me) would stop me from shooting some sweet photos outside! We had a grand ‘ol time with our adorable couple Kate and Bo yesterday! It was windy, freeze-you-to-the-bones cold outside, and I’m fairly certain I couldn’t feel my face after a while, so there’s a good chance my face was contorting into horrific expressions that I couldn’t control. Nevertheless, it was so much fun to get to know Kate and Bo a little and learn all about their forthcoming nuptials in Mexico! Guys…if y’all need a photographer to join you, hit us up! Hugs to you both!

I get to spend my lovely Friday afternoon looking at this little munchkin, and I couldn’t be happier! I looked up the actual definition of the word sweetness and it was short and sweet (pun intended): the quality of being sweet. I certainly think is an apt description for this little girl! And the fact that her mommy brought along a pig hat makes her that much more cute. UGH!

I will share more of her shoot with all of you lickity split!
