Not my quote, sadly. It’s Sarah Helen Whitman’s. But I think it expresses my feelings better than anything I could come up with, so I’m borrowing it.
Summer is waning, my friends. A big part of me is sad to see another summer end, because let’s face it- winters in North Dakota can drain your soul. We wait for summer during months of snow and grey skies and when it arrives we have a few precious months of dense, hot air, bonfires, sunscreen and flip flops. But then we must bid it adieu and remind ourselves that while fleeting and glorious, summer will come again. A smaller part of me is eager for autumn to start, but eager nonetheless! I do love autumn. I love the brisk air and the falling leaves (even though that technically means they’re dead), drinking really hot coffee and wearing mittens. We have a plethora of fall/winter weddings to keep us busy, so bring it on, autumn! Just don’t snow.
In the meantime, here is the Bleth family. We had the honor of shooting their family photos. It was probably one of the most relaxed and carefree shoots we’ve had in a long time. They took Jack and me on their pontoon (my first boat ride in many moons) and we (sailed? drove? boated?) to a sandbar and we just got to relax and take some sweet photos. We were there to do a job, but by the end of the evening it felt like we were all friends just relaxing on a boat. It’s shoots like this one that make me realize what an amazing job I have! So thank you to the Bleth family! We had so much fun and were truly blessed to take your photos!
Enjoy and comment below, y’all!

Hello, friends.
The Glasser Images compadres are headed off to a wedding (yay!) in one short hour, so I am quickly getting my daily blog fix.
This is a wee bit of the awesome shoot we had with Jordon just a week ago. Jordon is a senior and we were so blessed to be able to shoot her senior photos! Jordon is not only fantastic and complete sweetheart- she’s also an amazing dancer. So when I found out we were going to be hauling a giant trampoline into the middle of a field and we were going to shoot her literally dancing in midair, the photographer in me jumped for joy as well. And let me tell you, boys and girls- she soared. Literally. Watching her jumping in the air was stunning, and I’m fairly certain she has more grace in her pinky toe than I have in my entire body.

Hellooooo. I promised you all muchas Brianna and here she is!
As I said before, we had a blast and a half shooting her senior photos. She rocks, and therefore vicariously, her photos rock. I remember right before we were going to shoot, we were getting ready to leave Casa de Glasser Images and Brianna looks at me and goes “I don’t want pictures like everyone else. I just want them to be unique.”
Right on.
So we went. And we shot. And we laughed until our sides hurt.

So I’m in this mood.
I haven’t a clue why, but for the last few weeks I’ve had the intense urge to declutter my life. I gave away bags of my belongings, gotten rid of my curtains, lamps, rugs and chairs. I woke up one day and everything needed to go. It was like I developed a complex overnight and everything in my room was making me claustrophobic and it had to go that day.
So naturally, now I am stuck in a huge empty room. I love the space, and I feel organized and refreshed… but now I have no lamps in my room, so it’s kinda dark. And I have no curtains, which I’m not sure my neighbors appreciate (sorry guys). Therefore, I have been hunting up and down for housewares that I feel I won’t get sick of and randomly toss out one day. No luck so far.
And then I stumbled across this site today. A company named Squint Limited
Now if this is a glimpse into the Psyche of Quinn, then you have a pretty good idea of the essence of me, if I was ever to be reincarnated as a couch.
LOOK HOW FREAKING COOL THIS IS.

It’s safe to say, especially after converting pounds to dollars, that this stuff is waaaaaay out of my price range. But what can I say? A girl can dream.
What do you guys think? The coolest furniture you’ve ever seen? Or Alice in Wonderland gone wrong?
